After months of counting down to its arrival, the wildly-popular Houston Fun Fest event is slated to take place this Sunday!! Sponsored by Houston Family Magazine, this festival-style extravaganza will be offering a day chalked full of fun for both children, and adults alike. Your entire family is invited to come out to Discovery Green and celebrate 3 resounding years of successful family fun, all packed into a 1-day event.
The Houston Fun Fest prides itself on offering FREE family-friendly activities, inflatables, arts and crafts, door prizes, live entertainment, shopping, and more. This year over 18 vendors will be on-site, exhibiting and selling a variety of goods, food, beverages, and services. Blue Willow Bookshop, Old West Soda Co., St. Arnold Brewing Co., Custom Confections, and Mad Science will all be amongst the many vendors. Your children can have their faces painted, prior to scaling the oh-so popular rock wall. And as for the adults, sit back and indulge in the live music that will fill the air. Balloon artists will join costumed-characters meandering through the crowd, thrilling people of all ages. Grab a hula hoop to twirl, or take your chances at one of the many games being played, offering prizes. Numerous arts and crafts tables will be sprinkled about the grounds, offering hands-on activities for your children to participate in.
