As the weather warms up now that Spring has arrived, there are lots of opportunities for you to enjoy yourself around town. This weekend, pick from the Bayou City Art Festival and the Tomball German Heritage Festival or squeeze them both in since you have more than one day to pick from.
The Bayou City Art Festival will take place on Friday, March 29-Saturday, March 31 at Memorial Park in Houston near the volleyball courts. It is recommended you park at Northwest Mall and take a shuttle to the festival. The Festival will highlight 300 artists from around the country and feature music, food trucks, beverages, entertainment, a Children’s Creative Zone and much more. Every year, a new jury selects the participating artists, some new and some returning. The festival will include entertainment, interactive activities and crafts, face painting, food trucks and of course kite flying. Throughout the day, there will be a variety of performances for you to enjoy including music and dancing. Tickets can be purchased online at a discounted rate or at the gate.
The Tomball German Heritage Festival will take place on Friday, March 29-Saturday, March 31 in Old Town Tomball near the Historical Train Depot Plaza.
