Happy 4th of July!
There are many things to keep in mind this 4th of July holiday weekend. Most importantly everyone’s safety. Another thing to keep in mind is your household pets. Most dogs and cats are afraid of thunder, and like thunder, fireworks make loud sounds and bright noises which can cause stress to your animals. Please keep them in an area they are familiar with and can find comfort far away from the fireworks. Though the noises you can not avoid, at least you will know they are put up and out of harms way. Next things to think about this holiday weekend are the Kids. Children enjoy the show that comes along with popping fireworks and with that, they tend to get a little side tracked by the pretty colors. The last thing on their mind is keeping themselves safe so it is up to you as their parents to keep them away from fire and anything that could ignite close to them. Lastly, a fun time should be had by all! Let us not forget the purpose of the 4th of July- we celebrate our Independence!
A Fun Fact about the 4th of July:
Both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on this day in 1826. Both men served as President and signed the Declaration of Independence.
