Year after year the Houston International Festival brings fun, culture and entertainment to our community. This year the opening ceremony and the official site launch of the ifest will take place on Friday April 20, 2012 from 11am to 2pm .
The center stage on the steps of the City Hall will welcome all those who would like to celebrate the launch of the festival. This year the honored country is Argentina. The program will include a children’s parade and a free lunch concert featuring Argentinean and South American Music.

This year some of the Bud Light World Stage performances will feature; Los Lonely Boys, Galactic, and War and Steel Pulse. The festival takes place the following two weekends April 21 – 22 & 28 – 29 in the streets of Downtown Houston, around the City Hall located on Bagby street.
Tickets are available at the gates for $18 adults, $5 for children 3 – 12. Advance tickets are $12 adults and $4 children 3 – 12.
