ExxonMobil Update – February 2012
According to reports Gilbane and Harvey have been selected as the builders who will complete the ExxonMobil Campus project in Houston, TX.
“Thomas F. Gilbane, Jr., chairman and CEO of the 138 year old Gilbane Building Company, said, “Our team is very proud to be involved with this project. My father began this relationship many years ago and we are looking forward to making this campus a reality. ExxonMobil is working with some of the best designers in the world to create high efficiency buildings that will be an asset to the local community and the environment.”
David E. Harvey, Jr., chairman of Harvey Builders said, “Our team has safely worked together for decades to create productive environments throughout Houston. We look forward to constructing this beautiful and creative design with the state-of-the-art team ExxonMobil has assembled.”
Gilbane, a full service construction and real estate development company and Harvey, a full service general contractor, will join together to start construction on the 385 acre site in North Houston in 2013. The proposed complex is scheduled to open some time in 2015 with some employees scheduled to begin the moving process some time in late 2014.
