Klein ISD & Spring ISD
According to the Community Impact Newsletter, as of now, there is a total of 48,135 students in Klein ISD and more to come with Exxon Mobile in place. Same with Spring ISD. Coming up along side Klein with the prediction of 40,000 by 2023. Both school districts have been impacted by Exxon Mobile and it is sure to keep growing throughout the years. Not to forget that, with Grand Parkway opening up in 2015, the flow of students will only increase and may bring more than anticipated to the Spring area and the demand for residential housing will be in full effect! There will be an increasing tax base which school district officials hope to help with the covering of maintenance and the operations budget. According to Porter, “The growth is going to help balance the bond authorization.” The results from the Spring 2014 STAAR Test shows that education in Klein ISD schools; from Elementary to High school, have met the standard performance target. To conclude, education within Klein and Spring ISD will continue to grow with the entrance of Exxon Mobile and Grand Parkway. Not to mention, the Real Estate community will continue to rise in the Houston area for ongoing years!
