Buyer Questionnaire – What Are You Looking for in a Home?
As an agent who specializes in helping people buy homes, I’ve found I can best serve my clients if they tell me about their ideal home well in advance of buying it.
With this information I can set up a property drip that matches their criteria and we can adjust that criteria as we go along. This way, they don’t miss out on any opportunities and we can narrow down the search. Then, when they get in the car to look at homes, we have a pretty clear picture of just what they’re looking for.
Here is a sample of the simple questionnaire I use to get a feel for what my buyers are looking for.
1.) Are you:
-Actively searching for a home now
-Planning to buy a home within 6 months
-Planning to buy a home later than 6 months from now
2.) What is your price range?
3.) What area(s) do you want to live in?
4.) Are you interested in a specific neighborhood or specific school(s) or district(s)?
5.) What kind of home do you want to buy?
6.) How much land do you want?
7.) How many bedrooms do you need?
8.) How many bathrooms do you need?
9.) Are you looking for any specific features (e.g., waterfront, pool, garage size, built-in vacuum, distance to school):
10.) Additional comments:
