Lakewood Forest was built in the 70’s and quickly grew to the one of the most well-known neighborhoods in Northwest Houston.  Lakewood Forest consists of 18 sections with 2500 residents and construction as recent as 2003. It offers large homes in lush, wooded surroundings, significantly established in Harris County in 1972 in the backyard of Hewitt Packard. When this community started it was filled with business men and women whom worked for HP. Now, you find the neighborhood has a variety of professionals whom work in all areas due to the expanding over the many years. With the expansion came advantages such as the closeness and abundance of business centers, shopping and dining. Tomball ISD as well as Cy- Fair ISD serves this neighborhood.
